Daily Change of Petrol prices may affect from May 1st in 5 Cities
From May 1st, 2017 petrol prices are going to change on daily basis with reference to the International Oil prices in 5 Cities including Visakhapatnam, slowly will affect to other areas soon.
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petrolium Corporation (BPCL), Hindusthan Petrolium Corporation (HPCL) passed ordinance on this.
In first phase - Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Udaipur (Rajasthan), Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), Chandighar and Puduchery cities are implementing experimentally, slowly it wil be implemented in all areas. Said B Ashok, IOC Chairman.
At present, every month 1st and 16th of the month analysing the prices, taking account mean of last 15 days International Oil prices and International Exchange rates fixing the petrol prices.
We can regularise this daily price change whole country, after implementing the 1st phase in selected cities after studying and analysing the affecting areas of use, we can successfully implement in other areas too, added Ashok
By this way, won't appear the rise of prices effect and no chance in political interference.
On April 1st, Petrol prices reduced by Rs. 3.77, and diesel price reduced by Rs. 2.91. Earlier in two months (at the time of UP and punjab Assembly elections) there was no change.
