After mysterious daughter, man claiming to be Jaya son surfaces

Days after a woman's claim to be the daughter of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa was found to be a hoax, a man claiming to be her son has filed a complaint with the chief secretary of the state. He has also laid claim to her property.
According to a report in India Today, the man, Krishnamurthy from Erode, claimed that Jayalalithaa planned to introduce him as her son to the world, before her death.
“I visited Jayalalithaa at Poes Garden on September 14th, 2016 and stayed with her for four days. My mother wanted to introduce me as her son to the world and knowing this an argument broke out between her and Sasikala," he reportedly stated, adding that he feared for his life until now, but decided to speak up now as he wanted to everyone to know the truth.
He claimed that he was currently residing at Jayalalithaa's friend Vanithamani's house with his adopted parents.
He also asserted his rights over the deceased leader's property, claiming that he was her rightful heir.
The 24,000 sq ft Poes Garden property is named "Veda Nilayam" after Jayalalithaa's mother and is known for stunning luxury and lavish interiors.
Jayalalithaa was hospitalised on the night of September 22 with complaints of fever and dehydration, and eventually died of a cardiac arrest on December 5.
The circumstances of her death have been under constant scrutiny, with several people alleging foul play, and former Tamil Nadu CM O Panneerselvam demanding a probe.
Recently, a young woman came out to the media claiming to be the daughter of Jayalalithaa and MGR. But it was later revealed to be a hoax.
